For many years the Korean Government’s Ministry of Education has run a very successful Teaching and Learning in Korea (TaLK) program that offers native English-speaking students and recent graduates the chance to stay in Korea and learn Korean in exchange for a few hours of teaching per day. The organisers are currently looking for new recruits to teach English to elementary students living in the rural areas of South Korea.
Please find a document describing the TaLK program here. Applicantions should be sent to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Canberra via regular mail during the period of 18 Sep – 30 Nov:Embassy of the Republic of Korea
