The Tax and Transfer Policy Institute of ANU’s Crawford School of Public Policy is organising and hosting an Australia-Korea Foundation-funded workshop on 9-10 November 2017. The workshop will be of particular interest to those working on economics, public policy, social security, population ageing, and care issues.
The purpose of the workshop is to build a collaborative network of academic experts, government and civil society groups for reciprocal study of tax and welfare policy and to discuss and engage new approaches and address shared public finance challenges in Australia and the Republic of Korea. The workshop will involve government policy makers and bring together leading researchers from Korea and Australia to discuss key issues related to tax, public finance and welfare policy.
The workshop is sponsored by the Australia-Korea Foundation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in the Australian Government and was developed in partnership with the Graduate School of Science in Taxation at Seoul National University.
