Call for Papers – Journal of Korean and Asian Arts

The Korean National Research Center for the Arts (KRECA) at the Korean National University of Arts warmly welcomes submissions for the 4th issue of the Journal of Korean and Asian Arts (KAA). KRECA is the only national research institute in South Korea devoted to arts studies and arts education since 1993. It launched its open access English journal KAA in 2020 to promote the study of Korean and Asian Arts. The focus of KAA includes (but is not limited to) the study of music, film, theatre, multimedia, dance, visual arts, Korean traditional arts, and arts education.

KSAA strongly opposes UWA plans to eliminate Korean (and Asian) studies

The KSAA strongly opposes the announced plans at UWA to eliminate Korean studies, as well as Chinese, Japanese, and Indonesian studies, and anthropology. As KSAA President, Roald has submitted a letter to the Chancellor of the UWA, the Vice-Chancellor, the Senate and various DVCs, as well the School’s own Head, Prof. Amanda Davies calling for the plans to be called off.
